This incident has now been fully resolved. Incoming mail processing is operating normally (BAU) and the backlog accumulated during the outage has been cleared.
We have continued to monitor the service for 2+ hours following recovery and have observed stable, normal operation throughout.

We have restarted the affected service and are continuing the investigation.
Current status: Incoming email fetching is now resuming and processing has commenced.
All emails received during the downtime will be processed, however it may take some additional time for the system to work through the accumulated backlog.
We are closely monitoring the situation and will provide further updates if anything changes.

Investigating -
We are currently experiencing a major incident affecting US Production incoming mail processing.
Start time: Yesterday evening, approximately 22:00–22:30 Central European Time (CET)
Impact: Incoming mail processing has stopped. Mailbox connections are still able to connect, but no new emails are being fetched/processed.
This only affects the US production.
Current status: We are actively investigating.
We will provide another update as soon as we have more information to share.
